With this service, your accountant will send you a notification request for a Screen Share Meeting to discuss the setup of your new QuickBooks Online account. The first step will be to determine your company settings based on the features you plan to use in your account. Your accountant needs to know whether you want to create projects and track inventory. These options are only available in the QuickBooks Online Plus and QuickBooks Online Advanced subscriptions. Your accountant will also need to know whether you plan to create progress invoices, billable expense invoices, customer estimates and purchase orders. You will also determine how to customize your chart of accounts and products and services lists.

Your accountant will create your lists in your QBO account and upload a Customer, Vendor, Chart of Accounts and Products and Services Report for your review into the From My Accountant folder located within your document upload portal.

With this service, your accountant can assist you during your Chime Meeting with connecting your business bank, credit card, POS and third-party applications to QuickBooks Online. Only 90 days of transactions come into your bank feeds when you first connect an account. Your accountant can assist you with downloading and uploading any missing transactions into your QBO bank feeds to categorize and add to your account registers. We will also make sure that your new chart of accounts aligns with your connected bank, credit card and POS (Point-of-Sale) accounts.
