One of the first lists that you should create in your new QuickBooks Online account is your Vendor List. Your vendor list will need to be setup before you start creating estimates, projects, invoices, sales receipts, vendor bills or expense entries in QBO. You will not be able to run any vendor reports or track 1099 payments by vendor if you have not created your vendor list in QBO.
