If you have selected our monthly A/P and Expense Entry Service, your accountant will add new vendor credits into QuickBooks Online. When a vendor credit is used, or it is refunded by your vendor your accountant may not have enough information to match what happens in your bank feed to your vendor transaction history. Copies of vendor credits should be uploaded into a folder within your secure document upload portal. Your accountant will send you notifications requesting vendor credit information that will show up on your client dashboard. You will select existing vendor credits form a list and enter new vendor credit information into a form directly within the request.
Some Entry Fields are Required, While Others are Optional
Your accountant will add vendor credits with the information provided. In order to create vendor credits, you should complete all required fields. Vendor credits are added by your accountant will our monthly A/P and Expense Entry and other monthly service offerings. Below is a list of required fields for entering vendor credits. Most vendor credits are for the purchase of products and services. If the vendor credit is for a products and services item, enter N/A into the required expense fields and complete the optional products and services item fields in the request form.
